Poor Quality, High Prices, Zero Integrity and Customer Service, 03-31-2011

The guys at Forward Printing are only good to work with if nothing goes wrong, but God forbid if they mess up your order, then you see their true colors, and their lack of integrity and customer service.

They severely messed up close to 50% of my order with rejectable product. No, I am not a dis-gruntled employee or a competitor. Just see the report on the Better Business Bureau's website (BBB CASE#: 57189663), to which they were unable to respond satisfactorily with respect to why they were unable, and unwilling, resolve an issue with their utter lack of quality and process control on my order; they sent me my order of t-shirts with severe ink bleeds, dirt, and inexcusable mis-registration of graphics, basically trash printing. Please feel free to contact me and I can send you pictures of their "work" and "crafstmanship" for which they are being taken to court, and don't just fall victim to believing that everything they do is innovative and perfect, because that's far from the truth.

I am following up with taking them to small claims court to get my money back, but if you just want to avoid the headache, it's best to avoid Forward Printing and look elsewhere to the many silk screening companies throughout the Bay Area and Nor Cal.

Yes, you see a lot of stellar reviews here (all of which they requested their satisfied customers to provide for them), but I am sorry to say that my experience has been disgusting to say the least. Over-priced, no quality control, no integrity, and no professionalism when they mess up your order...that's the risk you take when you work with these guys.

In a league of their own., 12-22-2010

Forward Printing has a reputation for being the best print shop around, hands down. I heard of Forward Printing by many other t-shirt companies that use Forward for their prints. I've been told that their quality of work was superior to the rest. It was only natural that I give them a call.

Being that I was brand spanking new to this industry, Forward was able to walk me through the entire process with ease. When a hiccup occured with the apparel manufacturer I bought the shirts from, Forward used their professionalism and experience to help guide me through the issue, although it was not a Forward issue. Talk about great customer service and great ethics!

Forward went above and beyond what any other printshop would have done. Their professionalism, positivity and not to mention OUTSTANDING work, makes them a force to be reckoned with and they're real people! All around, down to earth, great people!

Forward Printing has definitely secured my business with them and I look forward to a long lasting business relationship. They're definitely in a league of their own. Thank you Forward!

If you want to see how awesome their work is, go to www.thedistrictlifestyle.com . Here's one example of the work they have done for my clothing line:

We've been working with Forward Printing for the past three years and been consistently pleased with the quality of their work.

Their staff is extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of by phone or e-mail (they always respond to our e-mails quickly).

Their pricing has always been competitive and we appreciate the way they've always worked with us on our projects.

We highly recommend Forward Printing!

Working with Dan from ForwardPrinting.com on this order was definitely an easy experience. I had a ton of questions before I actually placed my order and we emailed back and forth for probably a couple of weeks or more before I finally figured out what I wanted :)

I personally prefer emails over phone calls (it helps me to remember and reference what was talked about), and throughout the email conversations, Dan was patient and took the time to write detailed answers to all my questions. I asked about different pricing situations and quantity breakdowns and each time Dan sent over an easy to follow PDF with the new quoted numbers.

After I finalized my order and sent in the artwork, I had the blank t-shirts shipped from a local wholesale supplier directly to the Forward Printing shop. The t-shirts arrived the next day and my order was scheduled for production. Dan gave me a turnaround date that the order would ship by, and they kept their word and got them to my doorstep in time.

How a business handles problems is almost as important (if not more important), as how they handle themselves when everything goes right. I received my order a day or so early, and when I opened the box I noticed that the t-shirts weren't folded and poly-bagged. After double checking my invoice and order confirmation to make sure I didn't forget to order that service, I sent off a quick email to Dan explaining what happened. Within a few hours, he got back to me with instructions on how to return the boxes to the shop at their expense to get folded and bagged. I'm only a 1 day UPS Ground ship from their Oakland, CA shop and I got the folded and bagged t-shirts back by the end of the week!

The finished t-shirts I received are nothing short of amazing. The discharge print on the American Apparel blanks turned out awesome and as you can see from the photo, the design is like embedded in the fabric giving it a super soft feel. I also really liked how the tagless label print in the neckline turned out and the little touch of adding my logo to the size labels that go on the outside of the clear bags the t-shirts are folded up in (ready for shipping).

Overall, I'd highly recommend Forward Printing to anyone that is looking to get high quality t-shirts screen printed using the (soft to zero feel) water based or discharge printing methods.

Full Disclosure: Although I'd consider Dan a friend, this order was done on a 100% professional basis. Translated: I paid for it and received the same service as anyone else :)
