I had been in talks with Mike Lowbridge for a number of weeks with me trying to haggle over the price of printing 300 t-shirts for me.
Eventually I agreed to his price. Come the day to get them printed Mike emailed me saying that the price of Brother inkcartridges has increased so the price of the printing had increased by £500. I rang Brother who told me that they had actually decreased due to the release of a new model of printer cartridge and that he was lying. I confronted Mike with this and he called me "Aggressive and threatening" and told me never to contact him again. In reality he was annoyed that I had caught him lying and trying to get extra money.
At such short notice I put a message on t-shirt forums saying I urgently required a printer. Paramount Embroidery came through with a cheaper quote and a far superior print quality.
I would steer clear of Mike Lowbridge and go with Dean at Paramount.
